Conclusion:

Solid, top notch pedal. It carries the low frequencies as well as any pedal I’ve tried and gives a strong gratifying fuzz sound filled with sizzle and harmonics. For all that, it cleans up well, and I could see some people using it at a dirty boost in front of a growly tube amp.

This pedal doesn’t feel ground breaking, it feels like a refinement of many attempts to create an affordable Muff clone with a little more versatility than that classic provides and maintains a ton of low-end ready to dialed in on command. Low production volume, no dealer availability, and longish turn around time may hurt the spread of this pedal initially, but as more bass players get their hands on it many will find themselves relying on it as a ‘go to’ fuzz.

As always, if you have any questions, leave a comment or let me know

Note: A rating of 5 = acceptable and should considered a ‘good’ basic score

  2. Hi.
When reviewing, would it be possible to mention the type of device used to create the sound (silicone, diode, germanium, FET, ect)
    Thanks
