Guttermouth Electronics - Destruction Device Innards 2

Construction and cosmetic concerns:

Well, the most obvious thing on this pedal is the fact that the layout of the knobs is a little bit too tight. This makes changing settings a little more challenging than it should be. The template for the knob label sticker is even tighter and with the included knobs, it’s not really possible to read them… rather I gathered a few letters mentally and figured out the rest using my higher reasoning skills. I hope just for professionalism sake to see this cleaned up as he moves forward with making these. The paint job itself is a very nice sparkle red that is well applied and isn’t likely to crack and flake at the first little drop (usually meaning the boxes are properly prepped as well. I like the ‘pin-prick’ led hole, but would like to see it executed just a little bit cleaner.

The shake test yields silence, and inspection of the innards reveals an interesting, and somewhat unusual layout. The workman ship appears solid, if a bit uninspiring, and I think the pedal should be able to withstand any regular amount of punishment without a problem. High quality side mounted jacks, and a top mounted boss style power connector finish up the layout.
