D*A*M MKII Professional (high gain) Review

D*A*M MKII Compare

Initial thoughts:

There are some claims that the D*A*M MKII Pro is the current peak of David Main’s pedal building to date. They are hard to get new since D*A*M pulled back production in an attempt to maintain an extremely high level of quality. 2nd hand models generally command a price greater than new ones, and those with desirable (aka rare) transisters are commanding a massive premium on sites like eBay.

This pedal is not designed for bass use, and I picked it up with the hope to trade it for one of the ‘low frequency’ versions he had for sale at the same time. I had a bite, but it got off the hook at the last minute. I figured I would toss out a review in the intrests of science and put it back on the sale/trade market. This is that review!
