Construction and cosmetic concerns:

D*A*M MKII Battery Compartment
This is the fourth D*A*M pedal that I’ve owned and they have all been of extremely high quality, but this pedal is clearly a labor of love. The fit and finish of this pedal is amazing, and I could ramble on about the details for awhile, but the photos should tell you all you need to know. It was fun to finally lay hands a pedal that cleanly executes a battery compartment, espically one that doesn’t feature an alternative via a 9-volt power supply. The hammerite finish and screening are top notch.

As a replica this pedal doesn’t feature an LED or power supply. I believe there is a purism to the pedal because of this, but I can’t help missing these modern bits. Only these quibbles and the rather large size keep it from a perfect score on construction.
