Dirt Review: Bogdan – Helter Skelter

Construction and cosmetic concerns:

The fit and finish on this pedal is very nice. The pink bubblegum color I requested is awesome, it has a thick and textured coat that may be one of the most durable seeming coating I’ve seen on a pedal. It’s almost like a rhino liner or something like that. The interior assembly and solidering are very well done. I’m not sure if it’s a problem with the coating or the selection of screws, but the heads were extremely soft and even with the correct sized screw driver I was afraid of stripping them out. This isn’t a big issue for me, but a battery user might find themselves a little put-out while trying a quick change after a battery outage.

  3. Hi.
On the ‘closet’ page, it would be good that you keep a list of those pedals that you discarded…just for the record.

    Thanks

  6. The Capricorn+ has a built in mosfet boost, and from my experience with the fulltone mosfet bassdrive, that’s a good thing!
