Conclusion:
This pedal didn’t live up to the hype for me. I wouldn’t say that it’s bad, but clearly there are lot of better options available without all the goofy secret handshake stuff. While the price isn’t paticullarly prohibitive, the lack of a tone knob makes it a one trick pony that I have no interest in riding. I found the tone to be brittle and harsh in the higher gain settings and while the lower gain settings were less obnoxious they were still nothing to write home about. Given my polish ancestray, I clearly had some reason to be biased in favor of this pedal, but alas that did not come to pass.
The pedal police say: “Nothing to see here, move along.”

Arger Capricorn plus.
I hear ya, but I’m not sure what you are saying.
Hi.
On the ‘closet’ page, it would be good that you keep a list of those pedals that you discarded…just for the record.
Thanks
I’m sayin’ you should review it!
Normand: Done
Cliff: It’s already on my ‘Wish List’
The Capricorn+ has a built in mosfet boost, and from my experience with the fulltone mosfet bassdrive, that’s a good thing!
grygryx is SO biased against overdrive! I wrote a letter to his hosting company
