Construction and cosmetic concerns:
Painting on the enclosure is attractive and durable. It’s slightly translucent and you get a hint of the metal beneath it. The components all appear to be high quality and it is wired for true bypass. The knobs and four screw battery entry are pretty standard. This pedal meets all the basic criteria for a your basic boutique pedal these days. The one problem I have with the layout is having the power knob, not only on the side, but also beneath the output jack. This has made some of my wiring mysteries just a little bit more entertaining. I’m not saying I would replace it they suddenly started making it with the power jack on the top, but I’d keep my eye out for a good used deal in the future. All the soldiering and layout stuff looks quite good and the pedal makes no noise when the shake test is applied, despite having a battery only constrained by compartmentalization.
Nice to see that you’re starting up with the reviews again. Was that a New Year’s resolution?
I’ve been busy with the holiday and working on tweaking some stuff and things got behind. I’ve been working on about 8 reviews in bits and pieces and will continue to finish them off this holiday weekend, and then get things back on a more regular swing (I hope).
