Conclusion:
This VCO and Fuzz blend isn’t something that is going to be for every bass player, and it won’t replace any bread and butter fuzz that you have parked on the end of your pedal board. It’s wild. There are laser-beams, ray guns, and small green men coming to get you when this fuzz gets going. This can be a grand time, or an audio nightmare depending on your perspective. There are some more stable sounds available when the mix knob is turned down, but you lose all the fun and wild times available at the top end. Seemed to work well with both my active and passive instruments. Low end loss depends on the setting, but there are some across all settings. The biggest downside to the pedal is the knob sensitivity and difficulty in dialing in the same setting each time you sit down with it.
As always, if you have any questions, leave a comment or let me know
