Initial thoughts:
I’ve had the opportunity to try several of the ElectroniX pedals since they appeared in the marketplace. I’ve placed a couple of orders, and a couple of other pedals were donated to do reviews with. I’ve always found them to be well conceived with interesting twists on classic sounds, while adding a little somethin’ somethin’ to make them more than their lineage. I’ve spent less time hunting for overdrives than I have for fuzz pedals, but frankly they seem to be just as elusive. The Geminidrive is an attempt to tackle the problem of achieving gain grunt, while keeping the punch.
