IMHO the SFT is a more flexible than the BBBOD, while attempting similar things, and its range overlaps about 98% of what that pedal can do. The one sound that it doesn't do is the 'wet blanket on amp', and frankly I don't like that much anyway (though some people might). I sold the BBBOD after getting the SFT The Angler is more nasal, and has a very limited number of settings that sound good to me. I think those settings sound GREAT in a band context, and different enough that I'll be keeping it as well... as a backup. I was a little underwhelmed until I tried it out at band practice and heard how it sat in the mix.
