The Malekko website mentions that the Chicklet is “brickless,” which likely refers to the Belton Digi-Log Reverb module that the Spring Chicken used. It’s sometimes called a “brick” due to its size.
i was excited to check out malekko’s new compact fuzz. Is it just me or is this a repackaged Spring Chicken?

It’s similar for sure, but my understanding is the Spring Chicken used a reverb unit from another company and this is their own thing.

So, just to clarify, has the mod that preserves bass been added to all of the newly made ones, or do you have to ask?
