The Malekko website mentions that the Chicklet is “brickless,” which likely refers to the Belton Digi-Log Reverb module that the Spring Chicken used. It’s sometimes called a “brick” due to its size.

true about the spring chicken – you have a source somewhere to indicate that the Chicklet uses a different unit? It seems unusual, especially since the SC is no longer available.

It’s similar for sure, but my understanding is the Spring Chicken used a reverb unit from another company and this is their own thing.

i was excited to check out malekko’s new compact fuzz. Is it just me or is this a repackaged Spring Chicken?
