Maybe it’s just that I haven’t heard it in person, but there were plenty of lows still pumping through my sub when you had it on. Sounded fairly huge to me, actually, in all ranges. I happen to like its character as well. Any perceived low end loss it does impart isn’t something that can’t be remedied with ye olde timey LS-2, as far as I hear.
I actually found most of the original review I wrote (and the scores I gave) from back in January in my backup stuff. I’ve updated the review and scores to reflect this.
That’s a bit harsh… I wouldn’t rate it that low. I kind of like it actually
I didn’t like it AT ALL on bass. It wasn’t designed for application on bass, so sometimes you get what you expect. ;)
