This appeared at my house yesterday and I did a little dance of joy. It’s fun to get mail! It’s more fun to get mail when it’s fuzzy!

EHX Bass Big Muff came in yesterday and I got to play with a bunch. I’m very happy with some of the design choices in the sound of the circuit now that I’ve had a chance to use it (some of which seemed a hair suspect on initial inspection of the documentation).

I’ve been remiss in posting new reviews because I’ve participating in a songwriting challenge and it’s been taking most of my ‘free’ time. That said, I’ve got 4 reviews in the works and I WILL be posting at least three of them this weekend, and the world permitting I’ll get that 4th in as well.

New to the fold and in the review queue.   The Skreddy Pink flesh is now gone to a new home, but I got a decent trade for it that I think people will be interested in hearing.

Had a chance to play with it a bit, and it falls square on the side of unashamed brutality.

Word on the street is a may break down and do some work this weekend. Stay tuned.

Got a couple of pedals in the mail yesterday. The Devi Ever Bass Fuzz, and the FX Dr. Bass Bit. Sadly the FX Dr. pedal was dead on arrival and I’ll be returning it and getting something else. I had heard comments about potential quality issues with his stuff, but was willing to give it a go, this just seems to seal the deal.

I also got a Akai Unibass (not pictured) in a trade. I probably won’t be reviewing it here, but it seems like a damn fun pedal.
